He's a Maniac

Yep, this little dude. He's a Lego maniac. Ever since we went to Utah back in February and discovered my old stash of Legos he has been opening that box and dumping out the contents daily.

He has even taken the Legos into the kiddie pool and has slept with them at nap time and at night.

He must take after his mother. Being the Lego lover that I am, I kept the directions to the set and even attempted recently to reconstruct the stable set that I got when I was probably 10. I partly blame that on the 4 year-old little girl I was watching who said she wanted to build it, but secretly I wanted to as well. Ethan on the other hand is more interested in mixing and matching the Robin Hood Lego men with my equestrian paradise, but what can you do. I'm just glad he hasn't stuck any of them up his nose or attempted to eat them.

I try to keep Ethan interested in his other toys which he seems to do pretty well (but he honestly still sleeps with Woody and Buzz Lightyear nightly). Since I was running out of projects I decided to make him this Car Cozy so he could bring it to church and not make a ruckus. We'll see how this works out come Sunday.

Another project I finished was refinishing a vanity that my next door neighbor so graciously gave us for free. Hey, I like free, and I like projects. Unfortunately I had to spend my time in the basement with a mask on so I wouldn't inhale fumes while working on it. It all worked out in the end though and hopefully it will look cute in our little girl's room in the future.

And the last project I've been working on is growing a human. I looked back in our collection of photos to compare my two pregnancies. Pretty similar, but I'm thinking I need to cut my hair.

23.5 weeks

24 weeks

And here's one last photo from back in February of Ethan wearing one of my Grandpa's hats. This kid can pull off anything.

Jane thanks you in advance for the car cozy, since she will most likely be commandeering it at some point during sacrament meeting.

I am having trouble leaving a comment! Try #4...
Fabulous pictures of Ethan, you and your fantastic projects! You have been busy! We were walking by the Disney store and saw TOY STORY 3 Legos and Duplos! Those would be a dream come true for Ethan!

I am super impressed with all your crafting projects! Lucas has loved his "car cozy," if that's what its called--I don't know, my sister made his--and it's perfect for church. Hopefully Ethan will enjoy his as well!
