Anyway, the heat has been pretty unbearable here for the last few days (seriously the worst summer in Rochester in the 3 years we've been here) so whilst running errands yesterday we decided to hit up Chuck E. Cheese's again for Ethan's sake. You'd think they'd get a clue and turn up the AC in that joint, but it was just as hot/muggy as it was outside. I don't think there's anything worse than sweaty kids smelling like pizza playing with the same skee balls that you play with. Washing hands and sanitizing is a must in a place like that, but it's cheap fun and Ethan scored some sweet prizes (aka: junk) that he loves. He sports that little baseball bracelet as if it were as cool as sillybandz. And this morning while he was playing with the iPod he insisted on wearing the star glasses to help him see.
Then this morning I headed out the the Church solo for the Pioneer Day activity with the primary. It was pretty hot and muggy, but the kids had fun with their bike parade and played some games. Ben and Ethan came later so that he could go to a baptism while I escaped the heat with Ethan. After little man's nap, we went to Volunteers of America to see if we could find a dresser for me to refinish for our little girl's room. We scored this solid piece for $30! Better than the stuff I had been finding on Craigslist and stuff that wouldn't really match that I was finding for 5 times as much at other stores, but now I have to decide whether or not to refinish it, or paint it a fun color. Any thoughts? I'm thinking of painting and going green.

Yeah, go green! Love Ethan's shirt, I'm in the south of India right now, and we are darn sure that the book took place right here. Coincidence, I think not!
