Blog Slacker

Wow it's been a couple weeks since our last post. I can explain though. When your 2-year-old has a fever, runny nose, a nasty cough coupled with you having a serious head cold that you can't really do anything about (thank you pregnancy) plus a sore throat and add in some amazing heartburn, the last thing you want to do is blog. Ben felt better than the rest of us, but still managed to get a fever one day and a sore throat. He still went to work though. What a trooper. Needless to say, we spent the entire week last week indoors. On the couch. Watching TV. It was awful. There really is nothing worse than being sick in the summer. It just doesn't make sense. There, that's my excuse.

Good news is, is that we're all on the mend. We made the most of our day yesterday by going to the Museum of Play, hitting up Wegmans (which Ethan affectionately calls "Cookie Wegmans" since he always gets a free cookie) and making the first full on dinner in what seemed like weeks. And the other day we went to Chuck E. Cheese's for the first time with Ethan. He LOVED it. He may even be obsessed with it. We got one of those portrait pictures that costs one token and put it up on the fridge. Whenever he sees it he get's excited and tells us about how he played basketball hoop, MarioKart, and skee ball. We had a coupon that got us 80 tokens for $10 and there was no way we could even attempt to use them all. Looks like we'll be going back in the future.

Also, today marks 26 weeks of pregnancy for me, which means I've still got a good deal of time to go before this little girl arrives. That also means I have plenty of time to make the crib skirt for the bedding I ordered a couple weeks ago for her. I plan on making it just white with green trim. Her fitted sheet will be green as well.

Apparently she is the size of an English cucumber and weighs close to 2 lbs.

Ridiculous! I am glad we don't live close for one reason, and one reason alone--I would look like a cow next to you if I were prego at the same time! I love her bedding! You're so crafty! I need to get on that bandwagon. Miss you!
