When Aunt Nat Visits

My sister Natalie has been here for the last week and today was the first day I whipped out the camera for photographic evidence. She came last week to take a course at a local college to get AP certified for history teaching. After going to classes daily from 8:30-3:30 she played with our kids, took in a couple bike rides, we went and saw Midnight in Paris and Cars 2, made a Lego set and some delicious food. She was a great sport to bunk up with Eleanor since the little lady didn't like the pack 'n' play in our closet as much as we had hoped. It's always nice to have family come and visit. We even get her for an extra night since her flight to LA tonight got delayed, so she'll be spending the night and taking an early flight out tomorrow morning. And just in case we miss her too much, she'll be back at the end of this month for our trip to Boston and New Hampshire with my parents. Wahoo!

How Eleanor entertained herself while Nat was in class.

Roomies.

Giving Aunt Nat kisses goodbye.

The Lego set we built one night. Yes, it's my set and not Ethan's, but I'll be sure to share with him.

Both Ben and I have a soft spot for Legos and have (over)indulged in getting some characters for Ethan's collection.

The divine triple-chocolate mousse cake we made yesterday.

And though I finished this project before Nat got in to town, here's the accent wall I stencil painted in our master bedroom. It took a week to do and I still have more work to do on it.
