Law School = Over

This morning I woke up, put on my lucky shirt and took my last law school exam ever (assuming I passed).

To tell you the truth, it feels more like a burden has been lifted off of my shoulders than anything, but it still feels pretty good to not have to worry about tests anymore.

Wait? I still have to take the bar exam? In July?

All in all, I would say that law school was a pretty good experience. I wouldn't recommend it for everyone, but it isn't a bad way to spend 3 years. I learned some junk, got the job I wanted and still rarely missed an episode of PTI. Not too shabby.

Wait? I have to start paying back those student loans this fall? With interest?

Like I said, I'm not the type to jump and scream for joy (unless I just beat Nate Rigby in mini-whiffleball broomstick home run derby), but that doesn't mean that I'm not feeling pretty good (again, assuming I passed).

Take it away, Kool and the Gang...

Congratulations! It's time to get the scuba gear out and go to the Caymans!

Congrats! Does this mean Amanda can throw out the shirt now? Or is it going to be used both days of the bar exam?

even though you're a law graduate now, you'll always be a fetcher to me.

You are in the middle of a strange series of less-than-expected reliefs. Graduating was overshadowed by the bar which was overshadowed by whether or not you passed which was overshadowed by having to work. Hearing you passed the bar is the nicest of the three by far.

I am proud to have you as a brother. Those two years in C-ville when I could run through the woods for free refrigerated mint oreos and Tivo'ed sports were some of the best I've had. You and Amanda are great.
