Tour de Charlottesville

My oldest brother Trevor and his wife Ashlee and two kids came out to visit the east coast this week. After a couple days in NYC, DC and Williamsburg, VA they came to visit us in C-ville. We spent the day today playing tourists with them. It was a gorgeous day which lifted their spirits since they got totally drenched in Williamsburg yesterday. We took a tour of TJ's home at Monticello and walked on the grounds of his plantation, ate at a hole-in-the-wall BBQ restaurant, got some gelato on the downtown mall, and just had a blast. It was especially fun to be with them since we haven't met the newest addition to their family, Renee. She's quite the cutie. All in all is was a great day; way more activity than what we're used to on a typical Saturday! I think they wore us out! We're glad we could spend time with our family and show them what makes Charlottesville so fabulous.

Glad that Trevor and Ashlee had a good time. We totally forgot they were staying with Dad until they had left, otherwise we'd have had them over. All those pics of C-ville make me want to pack my bags and head two hours south of here...to Norfolk. hahaha. Say hi to everyone for us. See you at graduation.
