Here Comes Halloween

Now that there is double the reason to celebrate October 31st we have been getting more and more in the Halloween spirit. The kids have donned their Halloween shirts a couple times (and I'm secretly hoping that Eleanor will be able to wear her 2T Halloween shirt next year, and Ethan his 4T shirt) their skeleton pjs, we went pumpkin picking this morning, and have decorated the house with skulls, spiders, ghosts, bats and spooky trees. All in all I'd say we're ready. I'm still debating on whether or not Eleanor will have a Halloween cake or a traditional birthday cake. Good thing I've still got 3 weeks to figure that out.

Our decked out entry way.

Getting the glow-in-the-dark effect to work on the pjs.

Working on their zombie moves.

Glad that when I bought these pjs last year that I bought a size bigger than Eleanor needed.

Cute little kiddos.

The view is much better from Daddy's shoulders.

Always pointing.

So angelic... oh wait, that's just the sun.

She was loving all the pumpkins!

Hate to admit it, but the only way we can get Ethan to smile is for him to say, "boogers and cheese".

Or we get him to laugh by having Ben do armpit farts. Classy.

We promptly put this pumpkin back when we found out it was $10.

Loading up the pumpkins.

Love that Ethan loves his sister. Even if she smacks him around quite a bit.

Sweet jammies! And the decor is so cute--I've been planning on doing the spray painted tree as well, but we'll see if I get the motivation to actually do it!
