So the milestones for this little lady include her standing on her own for at least 20 seconds, pointing to what she wants (which is usually stuff she's not allowed to have), understanding the word "no" and promptly taking whatever she has out of her mouth and just the other day she distinctly pointed and said "Bob" to the SpongeBob soap dispenser in the powder room. Luckily she hasn't done it much since, so I'm having a hard time counting that as her first word. She's an amazing sleeper and will go to bed a little before 8 and wakes up after 8 most days. I love it. Totally opposite of her brother who still manages to fall asleep hours after we put him to bed and then wakes up at 7 am. She's sassy, a little chunk and adorable. Happy 11 months, Eleanor!

11 Months
Which means in less than a month she'll be the big ONE. We're gearing up for her birthday by decorating and doing all sorts of Halloween crafts around the house. I have a feeling it's going to be nice to have a child with a birthday on a holiday. Especially Halloween. Hopefully she'll be alright with sharing her birthday with a bunch of trick-or-treaters. We may not even have to make her a birthday cake and just let her eat some candy. Just kidding. For the girl who loves everything sweet there will definitely be a birthday cake.
