Super Saturday

It feels like this has been the first Saturday I've had off in forever. It was a welcome break and we were able to spend the morning being super productive by painting the baby's room. We just painted the trim and the closet doors, but I got carried away and decided we should repaint pretty much all the doors upstairs. The weather was beautiful outside so luckily we just opened the windows for some ventilation. Things are coming along, and maybe if I can convince Ben we will spend Labor Day working on painting the walls in the room. Pictures will come when it's all complete; which better be somewhat soon considering the growth rate of my belly and my inability to bend over easily to help out with projects.

32.5 weeks

The real reason I got today off was because we were going to meet up with our friends, the Abbass', who were in town from Milwaukee for a wedding. Since they were coming from Utica, we met up mid-way in Syracuse at Dinosaur BBQ. Our little guys, who hadn't seen each other since our trip to Milwaukee in January, instantly started playing together and had such a great time sitting by each other at dinner. Luckily Dinosaur BBQ is a pretty loud environment so the fact that the boys were laughing super loud and yelling didn't make a difference. We of course ate way too much, but enjoyed the short visit with our friends.

This was from the last time we went to Dinosaur with the Abbass' in June of '09.

What a difference a year makes!

Until next time!

Man, you always have so many projects going on! I think you are a workaholic. :) I wish I was ambitious as you!

The boys are so cute together! I remember the first time they met when Ethan was only half of Benjamin's size (of course he was just a newborn). So glad you can get together occasionally!

Are those Reb's jeans? They make the booty look good! :)
