10 Day Forecast

Over the past week we've had snow, rain, wind, freezing temperatures and temperatures close to the 70's. Weather this fickle can only mean one thing... spring is officially on it's way! And with a 10 day forecast that looks this good, we are rejoicing. The windows are currently open and for preschool today we actually went outside for snack time and play time. Without jackets. Amazing! It's really been a mild winter so I can't really complain that much, but I think it's safe to say that every Rochesterian is looking forward to spring.

The only thing keeping us indoors (other than some potential rain) is preschool. I taught last week, and will be teaching for the next two weeks. I'm so glad Ethan's been participating in this preschool. I hope it makes the transition to a 5-day-a-week program a little easier. It's been fun to pick out a book and do a craft with the kids twice a week. I have to remind myself that the kids are 3 and 4 and if the crafts don't turn out exactly as I envisioned it's ok! So, last week we read the book Super Duck and the kids made super hero capes, and then today we read about about St. Patrick's Day and the kids made paper plate leprechauns (thank you Pinterest).

Next week we'll be reading a book about growing vegetables and we'll plant seeds. Let's just hope these kids have better green thumbs than I do.
