So over the last few days I have noticed Eleanor doing this funky head-tilt when she watches Ethan play. It cracks up Ethan every time. Ok, it cracks me up too. I'm not sure how this view is any better than usual, but it's cute nonetheless.
Ethan got a kite for his birthday from one of his friends and on a warm windy day this week I took him out to the field behind our house to attempt to fly it. Attempt being the key word. I couldn't get the thing in the air; so after a good half hour I gave up and told Ethan that maybe we'd come back later and fly kites with Daddy-o. After Ben got home from work we took out Ethan's dragon kite that he got last summer and went back to the field to try and fly it. It took a good 15 minutes or so, but Ben got it up. Granted the kite was higher quality than the one I was trying to fly. Anyway, while the kite was flying high and Ben was reeling out the line, he discovered all too late that the end of the line wasn't attached to the reel and the kite flew away. We looked in the trees nearby, but no luck.
And what is more fun than kids having a good time in the bath?

No, just letting you know you got ripped off. It was amazing at flying in crazy circles in front of me, just wouldn't get up any higher than 5 feet.
Oh! How I miss these kidlets!
