7 Months & Memorial Day

Another month has flown by leaving us with older children. In particular, this little lady who is now closer to being one than a newborn. Crazy. Eleanor is a doll and her recent developments include two new teeth sprouting on the bottom, rolling and scooting to whatever she wants and ending up in precarious positions (like under the armoire), eating table scraps better than baby food, regressing when it comes to sleeping through the night (boo, but could be the teeth), swinging on her baby swing in the backyard (which she LOVES) and laughing at her brother. Eleanor typically has a very serious look on her face, but if you talk in a high pitched voice to her and smile she will generally reciprocate. She's a happy girl.

Yesterday was Memorial Day and with the day off for Ben we went downtown to see the parade. Ethan is a huge fan of American flags, or as he likes to call them, "Americisn flags". He will point them out wherever we go, which is usually every 10 houses or just about every strip mall around town. A couple weeks ago we bought him a flag which he brought to the parade to wave proudly.

Ethan doing his best Lego ninja face.

And his crazy Lego skeleton face.

She had a good run, but was pooped by the end of the parade.
