Also, this past Sunday we hosted our annual St. Patrick's Day party. As per usual, I did not take pictures of any people but of just the food. I have done this for the past 2 years. Take for instance the party we threw in 2009:
And then there was the party in 2010:
And here are the pictures from 2011:
Ah, at least I got a shot of Ethan man-handling some homemade rolls. The spread was delicious this year, the company was fun and somehow we managed to have 11 adults and 16 kids in our home all at the same time. It was pretty crazy and only 2 injuries resulted. Some kids were playing hide-and-seek and the rainbow jell-o got knocked on the ground and the Pyrex shattered and some glass cut one of the kids (nothing serious of course). I also got cut while cleaning up the glass (again, nothing serious). Maybe one of these years I'll get a shot of the guests at the party.

Do I not recognize the piece of furniture you are serving the food on?
That food looks so delish. Wish we were there to partake in the festivities! How in the world did you do the jello? Love it. Tyler made the best corned beef and cabbage--my first time actually liking the stuff. :)You chefs run in the family I guess.
UGHH!!! 3 to 5 inches?! I'm sorry. I hope it all melts away this week and sunny skies are ahead. Glad you've got Mario to keep you entertained.
Yikes! That is crazy that the pyrex broke. I hope it was AFTER the jello was eaten. I think that is about how many people we had this year, too!! Crazy but fun!
Jello looks yummy!!!! Eleanor is getting so big... and darling!!
yes, it was quite the event this year. I can't wait to top it next year. without broken glass and toddler throw up
