Also, since Eleanor has joined the family I've been meaning to make her a profile silhouette. I wanted to update ours as well since Ethan now has hair, and I wanted to use the matting in the frames and make the silhouettes slightly smaller. Unfortunately, Eleanor hardly has a neck when sitting upright and we had to hold her horizontally above Ben's head to get a decent shot. She looks a little neanderthal-like in her silhouette, but luckily I just printed these puppies from our printer so when I finally get a good shot of her (and it may have to wait until she has some hair) I'll just make a new one. Easy peasy.

New Art
Ethan has been really into coloring and drawing recently. Most of the time when he tells me what he has drawn I have a hard time deciphering exactly what it is. I usually just tell him good job and say I see it. When I saw this, I could actually tell that it was a face. When we asked him who it was, he said, "It's Mario!" Big surprise.

So many artists in the family!
Way to go Amanda! Super cute.
Love the silhouettes! I've wanted to make those for awhile now. I love them on the staircase!
I love your silhouettes...remember the ones we made in YW's, they are still sitting in my drawer! I am super lame. I just need to buy the frames and do it! Love yours though. :)
Impressive art by Ethan! And I love the silhouettes! How did you do that? Very, very, cool. You should offer your services and sell them on etsy or something.
I love the silhouettes. I've been wanting to do one for A. Yours look great.
I'm trying to imagine Ben's reaction when Amanda told him he had to pose for the silhouette. Haha.
