Why We Have Child Locks

Before the previous owners of our home moved out, we told them not to worry about the child locks on any of the cabinets or drawers in the house. For the past two years it's been great not having to clean up after Ethan all the time, since I know he would totally take all the bake-ware and measuring cups out and play with them if he could. Over the past few days when I've been out of the kitchen long enough and have left the pantry open, this is what I come back to find:




At least he's organized, right? Now if only I could teach him to put everything back in the same place, because even I can't do that.
