New Best Friend

So yesterday afternoon our next door neighbor called to say that she and her kids had been to Target recently and found something for Ethan. They said it was Mario related and I knew from that point that Ethan would have a new obsession. When they came over later that afternoon Ethan saw the little girl outside and exclaimed, "She has a Mario toy!!!" He was really excited. I told him that she was bringing it over for him and he started to get more excited and was yelling, "Come in, come in!"

Well, it was love at first sight and now Ethan has a plush "backpack" to sleep with at night and play with all day. Who needs real human contact when you've got Mario? Oh and don't worry, they didn't spend more than $4 on it, but what great neighbors to be thinking of Ethan.


Other than Mario in our lives, we are hanging out and waiting for all the ice to melt outside. It's a balmy 53 degrees out now, which feels like at least 70 degrees and it's a total welcomed change. We can't wait for Spring! Here are some shots of us indoors on Valentine's Day.
