Other than football on the weekends we have had our fair share of experiences here during the last few weeks that we could report on... let's see, there was the time our sewage line backed up in our basement and we had some flooding (bleh, you don't even want to know what came up), the yellow-jacket invasion we had which we temporarily fixed with wasp killer and insullation foam (that was short lived once the bees decided to come through our recessed lighting), and then the possible rodent visitor that we had in our kitchen last week (we just saw droppings and had a chunk missing from a nectarine so I am assuming). Bad things do really seem to come in threes, right?!?
Anyway, today we went to the Seneca Park Zoo since it was a gorgeous day, and what was the first thing we saw when we entered the zoo? Giant turtles mating. Wow, what a welcome! I'll spare you the photo (hey, don't judge me that I took a photo). We took a leisurely stroll around the zoo, saw practically everything and still came out in under an hour and a half. It's really a great sized zoo for little kids. Ethan's favorite exhibit was a toss-up between the baboons and the sea lions. Here are some photos from our outing at the zoo:
We've got some out of town guest coming this week to see some of the Church sites, so hopefully the weather cooperates and we'll get some blog-worthy pictures from this week.

So fun! Congrats on finally having a Saturday off, those are few and far between in the retail world! Enjoy your visitors, who is it? I wish it was me!
Flooding is not fun and expecially when it's gross!! Our bathroom flooded a year ago next weekend while we were out of town and guess what...we will be out of town for that weekend again! Hopefully we'll come back and there won't be sewage to greet us.
Hopefully you get everything fixed up and you won't have anymore problems.
Woohoo! Maybe we can stay up one night and try to catch the mouse. Or not. But at least now I don't feel so bad for having bugs and other gross animals at our house, too.
