Mid-Week Catch Up

It's a good thing we asked the previous owners to leave the swing set in the backyard. Not that they would have wanted to take it apart and haul it away, but Ethan loves it. We need to find a bucket swing to attach to it so he can swing on it, but today he was loving the wheel that's attached to it.

It's a beautiful spring day today, and Ethan needs his colors washed, so I took out this outfit that I bought for him a while back. I bought it thinking he'd probably fit into it sometime this late summer since it's a 18-month-old outfit. Not so. I think I need to stop being surprised by how large this boy is and the size of clothes he fits in to. He still can't fit into any shoes (check out those chubby feet), and since he's not walking when we put flip flops on him, he just takes them off. What a stinker.

You can't really tell in these last photos, but Ethan's hair is starting to get longer which means it's starting to get wavy/curly. It's a lot longer on the top than it is on the sides, but I doubt we'll cut it.

Well, that's all for now. We have a packed weekend ahead of us with work, some BYU Ballroom Dancers that we're hosting, and Mother's Day. Stay tuned for what is sure to be an amazing post! Then again, probably not.

Look at that little man! He's SO handsome! I'm glad he's showing signs of curly hair, it always looks so cute on kids, and most adults too. (So why do mom, auntie Natalie and grandma always straighten their hair?)

I think Travis has a pair of shorts just like those! Ethan is getting cuter and cuter. You should take advantage of fixing a faux-hawk while it's longer on top than on the sides ;)

Did you get a new camera? The quality of the pics looks real good. And good for you for hosting the ballroom dancers! Let us know how that goes!

Hey! I am going to be in Poway over those exact same days. I would LOVE to see you. Where are you staying? We are getting there July 22nd or so, then leaving August 2nd.
Also, I didn't see the whole swingset in the pictures, but there is a great swing at Toys-R-Us that you can hook right onto another swing chain. I'm not describing it good... but its red with yellow straps that go over their shoulders. Its great because they can fit into it well until their toddler years, and if/when you guys move, you can buy some stuff at Home Depot (about $10) to set up the swing on its own on a back deck. It was only like $22 so might be a good purchase! Miss you and looking forward to seeing you soon.

Adam's feet were fat too. I don't like Crocs as a general rule, but they were the only shoes that Adam could wear and would keep on.

He is such a cutie! And what an adorable outfit. I also had to learn to stop being so surprised when Henry was fitting into clothes meant for a baby twice his age... Gotta love these big boys!

Ethan is so adorable- he really cannot take a bad picture. I loved the photo of his feet! How great you guys have a swingset in your backyard- that must be so nice just to walk back there and have a fun place for Ethan to play.
