Welcome to the world Harriet Marie! Harriet came into the world at 11:57 pm on the 23rd after about 12 hours of contractions and five minutes of pushing. When she finally decided to come out, she made it quick.
We are thrilled to have her in our lives and are excited to watch her grow. And now the reason you came to the blog, PICTURES:

| Harriet, like both of her siblings, pooped in the amniotic sac, so they had so whisk her away to suction her out and clean her up. Don't know what is is about the Mudrick kids, but they clean up okay. |

| I wanted to name her Harriet because of Harriet Tubman, Harriet Beecher Stowe and Harriet the Spy. Of course, after she was born, my father informed me of "Harriet the Talking Toilet," which I guess was a thing in the 50s or 60s. Luckily for our Harriet, my google search was fruitless , so she might be spared the nickname (except by me and her Grandpa, of course.) |
Just as a precursor of the next few pictures, as you saw before, it took Eleanor a little while to warm up to Harriet. Not as long as the five months it took Ethan to acknowledge Eleanor, but it definitely wasn't love at first sight. However, during her second visit to the hospital, Eleanor's heart was miraculously changed. (P.S., if you have met Eleanor, these pictures completely sum up her hot-cold personality.)

Finally, a video of the kids bonding with their little sister. Eleanor has warmed up completely, and Ethan is as sweet as ever.
Now it's time to get some sleep. (Pray for us!)

Good to know Eleanor is still sassy as ever. I think the photo of Ethan holding Harriet while looking at her with that adorable smile might be my favorite. Can't wait to see you all!
look at how perfectly CUTE that baby Harriet is! Seriously that pucker face picture?! I die. Eleanor is hilarious. She seems so grown up all of the sudden.

Congratulations! That's one adorable Mudrick. They all are. WE all are, right? Good luck with the sleep. We're happy for all of you.
Now that I am home and can't play with Eleanor and Ethan and I can't hold Harriet, I'll have to be satisfied with watching this darling video often. Of course we will be face timing, but I can't bother you several times a day with that!
