Yesterday while we had some of the missionaries over for dinner we gave Ethan his first ice cream cone. When we would eat ice cream in a bowl he wasn't too fond of trying it out, but when we gave him his own cone he was all over it. Though he didn't know that he could eat the cone so I was his designated cone-eater. Tonight after dinner we asked if he wanted one and he perked right up. He even attempts to say "ice cream cone", though it comes out as "I cone".
Ethan's response to seeing these photos was "eeeewwwww" and "mmmmmmmm, goood!"

I can't believe he's never had an ice cream cone. First child thing, I guess. Isabella didn't have a drop of sugar before 1. I have no idea when Naomi had some--but definitely before 1.

I love that your dad gets worried when you don't post!! And yes...I can verify (because I am lucky enough to see him at least once a week) that Ethan is still VERY cute.

so cute. I love the ice cream all over his face. What a bummer Ethan was sick- sick kids are noo fun. We miss you here- I got so use to having you around to play everyday!
