Ethan and I flew out to Utah. Ethan was a perfect angel for the first leg of the trip and then on the second leg, he slept for two hours then woke up hungry, blew out of his diaper and onto his onesie, spit up all over my leg and into the shoe of the sleeping passenger beside me. Honestly, she should have kept her shoes on, but what can you do. Changing a baby in the bathroom on a plane is a nightmare, that is unless there's a changing table which Ben discovered on the flight home yesterday.
We got to go to my nephew Lance's 4th Birthday party which was all Speedracer themed. Ethan got to meet his Bruford cousins and Renee was just infatuated with Ethan. Poking out eyes and pinching the nose and feet must be terms of endearment to an 18 month old.
My Mom, Natalie, Tyler, Ethan and I went hiking to the Timp Caves. I got altitude sickness mixed with exhaustion and dehydration and ended up throwing up in the caves on the tour. This was right after the big spiel the ranger gave us about not dropping any food in the caves because of mold. Oops.
Lunch with old roommates, trips to Costco, rides on the scooter, BBQ's with friends and family, a trip up to Park City for my birthday, seeing the Dark Knight playing the Wii Fit and watching tons of the Olympics just about sums up the rest of our vacation in Utah. We can't wait to go back for Christmas!

Aunt Natalie & Grandma were so good to Ethan while I was out of commission
Ethan was thrilled when Dad finally joined us in Utah

Aunt Ashlee took some cute pictures of Ethan
I get to use this cute kid as my subject while playing with the new flash I got

Oh boy. Traveling is joyful. At least it was worth it (minus the throwing up).
Sounds like you had fun except for the dirty diaper, spit up and throw up. Ethan just keeps getting cuter and cuter!
Love the pics! I miss you three already. I might try and make it up while Tyler is in town, we will see. Let me know if you ever break my high jump score...woohoo!
yay i`m glad we at least got to go to lunch! Ethan is so stinkin cute! And it was good to see you too. :)
I am cracking up!! Naomi was a dream on the flight, but she, too blew out and spit up (a lot). I had never had to change a baby on the plane (impressive, seeing as this is my third), but had to change Nay 3 times on one flight--but I had discovered the changing table. Next up: taking 2 kids to the bathroom at the same time. Yes, we held up the line with the three of us in there. Yes, you can fit that many into a teeny airplane bathroom. We have done it. Thank goodness Sam was with us because I don't think I could have fit 4 in there. How do people travel alone with 3+kids?
so so so so sad i missed you guys. tragic.
