Just Another Valentine's Day

Today marked the 5th Valentine's Day that Ben and I have spent together. In the past we have tried to keep things low-key by just getting each other cards, getting a cheap dinner at somewhere like Five Guys and being the good significant other than Ben is, he'd buy me flowers. Since I usually have the car it's interesting to see how Ben manages to get me something each year. This year was no different and I was surprised this morning when I found these in the kitchen:

Along with it came a sweet card. When I got home after work Ben let me know he had gotten a few more things that I like such as these:

But I think the biggest surprise of all this Valentine's Day is that we got one of these:

I think we've got the next four years covered.

That's so awesome!! I can't believe you got a new car?! Did you know he was going to get for you?

Yeah!! That will handle the snow much better. And now he has wheels to go out and my MORE things for you! HA! Sam had to settle for the wii as a combined b-day/v-day present (it took me that long--and calling multiple times a week, to find a store that had one in stock). And the only extra game we've gotten so far is High School Musical Sing It (for Bella, of course). It is awesome. She can break it down.

The new car was something necessary and with 0% financing we decided to just go for it. It wasn't so much of a surprise, but at least we can say we bought it "for Valentine's Day".
