Lookin' More and More Pregnant

It's amazing how much I feel like I've gotten bigger over the past 3 weeks! Maybe it was those 6 lbs I gained between my 18 and 22 week appointment (I partially blame the holidays). The back ache is getting pretty tiresome, but on Friday it was temporarily relieved when my boss suprised me and scheduled a prenatal massage at a spa close to my office. It was seriously one of the nicest things that anyone has ever done for me; other than the massage gift certificate that Ben gave me for Christmas of course! With our busy schedules and just one car, I haven't had the chance to schedule it. Maybe now I'll wait a little bit before I use that one.

I'm happy that this week is over since it was a really busy one. In addition to work and weekly activities, we had a Branch activity on Friday night, work on Saturday, I had a talk to write, Church and a baptism. Yikes! The activity was a chili cook-off that I'm proud to say that Ben won, although he thought it would look a little sketchy if we won considering we bought the prize, so we gave it to the runner-up. After the chili cook-off we had a talent show. It was pretty hilarious. We had some little girl do a Harlem Globe Trotter wannabe routine, some older ladies did some pretty horrible lip-syncing, some Tae Kwon Do and even a Latin dance that was performed by some of the Latin members of our branch. Yesterday after my shift at the Gap we decided to go see Juno, which was funny but as Ben would say, "it wasn't amazing". After the movie we came home and I prepared for my talk which always takes me longer than it should. The surprise I got today was that my name was the only name on the program for sacrament meeting. Luckily they got a missionary to give a talk as well so I didn't have to talk for 45 minutes. Our busy weekend ended on a good note with a wonderful baptism for a good friend of ours this afternoon. I'm thinking the only thing that could make this weekend any better would be for the Chargers to beat the Patriots so they could go to the Superbowl!

Ben looked a little scared to hold the board

Our friends the Cadenas. The father was baptized today.

You look so good pregnant! I was cheering for the Chargers also, but too bad they didn't win.

You're starting to poke out -- a teensy tiny bit! You're tiny!

How are you fairing in this freezing cold weather! YIKES.

I need to do some shopping. Let me know when you're working :). Maybe we can go for some hot chocolate! YUM

Don't you love being in a city branch? You'll have some great stories. There are such neat people there. And, nope, sorry, no belly yet. I'll give you another month or so. It looks like you're TRYING to stick it out. A prenatal massage?!?! Two!?!? I've NEVER had one, and this is my third baby (hint, hint, Sam).

Thanks for the updated picture. You look terrific! It's a good thing you have enough energy to do all the things you have to do.... I hope the cold isn't getting to you!

I've never heard Ben say a movie was amazing. So Ben, which movies are on the amazing list (besides Peewee's Big Adventure)?
