Half a Year Old!

Here's the big boy on his half year birthday. Seriously, time has flown! Ethan is such a happy baby. He will smile at anyone who makes eye contact with him and has recently discovered his voice and the funny sounds that it can make. He continues to crack us up every day and we are so happy to have him in our family.

Ethan and I have been kicking it at home this afternoon since it's cold and a little snowy outside. We got a couple inches of snow last night which resulted in me having to buy this today:

So that I could shovel this:

Thank you Ethan for taking a nap so that we don't slip and slide the next time we have to get in the car.

Does Ben make you mow the lawn too?

I would if we owned a lawnmower.

She did make me rake the leaves at 10:00 pm once though.

Hey, let's not even try to keep score when you know I've had to do it more than you. Thanks again for raking those leaves at 10 pm on a Friday night. When we do get a lawnmower I'll teach you how to use it.

HAHAHA! I, too gave Sam his first lawn mowing experience when we lived with my grandparents. I had been mowing our family's lawn since I was 10 and was a pro. And on a side note, I have shoveled our courtyard here more times than anyone else (including when I was pregnant). And we share with three other neighbors. We women are tough.

Ethan looks like a little man in the first picture! So cute!

I am not seeing the midnight showing. Shocker! Travis actually read the book and we are going together to see the movie Firday night. He claimed he couldn't go to a midnight showing and go to work the next day. The sacrifices I make for him!

Yes, let's catch up! How's Sunday?

(1) Please, feed that kid something. He looks like he's starving to death.

(2) Julie and Amanda: Your complaining about how lazy we are just underscores how smart Ben and I were to marry the two of you, and what poor judgment you both exercised in agreeing to marry us.
