So Long, Farewell...

Well, Hotel Mudrick is officially closed for the season. We had a couple more guests in the last week bringing the total number of visitors to 32 and sleeping guests to 17. We're not sure if every year during Pageant will be like this, though if it is we hope that by next year we'll be in a larger space so quarters won't be so cramped. Ethan had a blast with everyone who came to visit. He has started smiling a lot which has made mornings when I don't quite want to get up more enjoyable. When my friend Kirby came out this week she would spend an hour or so with him in the morning talking/making noises to Ethan. He mostly just stared at her with a cute smile like this one.

I'm totally biased, but this kid is adorable! While Kirby was here, we were able to go to the Hill Cumorah Pageant, Palmyra, the mall, Niagara Falls, the outlet mall and a work party for Ben. We totally made her 5 days here worth it. Next time she'll just have to come back with her husband so he can see how totally rockin' Rochester is!

Yesterday we were able to go to the Seneca Park Zoo for a work party with HSE. We got a free lunch with our free admission which wasn't a bad gig at all. Not that this zoo can compare with the San Diego or National Zoo in DC, but it wasn't half bad. Perfect for small children and the price is a whole lot cheaper than the SD Zoo. Ethan was pretty sleepy for most of our visit but that's ok since it was pouring rain for about an hour while we were eating lunch. At least we got one shot of him awake from his first trip to the zoo at his Dad's favorite exhibit!

Thanks again to all the people who came to visit in the last few weeks. We had a great time with everyone and we were happy to show off our cute little man. He has to get used to just hanging out with his boring folks now. Poor kid.

I swear that kid is all Bruford. So adorable. I love that you took him to the zoo too. I took Savannah when she was about 6 months old, and of course she couldn't have cared less. And I'm like, We're making memories here people, MEMORIES!

Oh my gosh, he is so cute. You definitely need to frame that one of you and Ethan, that is adorable and could be in a magazine (it would just add to your famous streak!)

That little man is just too much! Luck me, I get to hang out with him for a whole week in Utah. I heard the house hunting has been a little difficult...hey, I'll pray for ya. It is the least I could do.
